The King’s Highway

The King's Highway is a popular documentary that needed a web presence, social media pages, merchandise, and a successful marketing campaign. We provided this and more.

Background: The King’s Highway is an award winning documentary that won the 2016 First Glance Film Festival Audience choice award. It was featured on WHYY PBS for the full 2017 programming year. It also was picked up by LA based distributor Indie Rights and is currently distributed worldwide. It had its’ movie premiere at the Kimmel Center’s Perelman Theater in 2016. The now 501(c)(3) nonprofit features a bus tour, historic metal signage initiative, historic community events, walking tours, and merchandise.

Our Approach: This was a big undertaking as there were many facets that needed to be filled. As listed above, not only was a website needed that could sell merchandise, but a large social media following was needed. This mean digital assets across the board, graphics for merchandise, printed material, bus and walking tours, DVD cover, Tshirts, and much more.

Our Solution: We built them a custom HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery website on top of Bootstrap. The result is a custom, mobile responsive, adaptive to any device or screen, beautiful, dynamic website that has an easy to navigate menu with pages that have a variety of style. We also had to create their logo, merchandise graphics, bus tour map, community event flyers, social media pages, and help them promote all of it online and in person.
